the approach
Roles & Responsibilities
After the realization of the first two Nike House of Innovation retail concepts, the power of the innovation aesthetic in the product story-telling fixtures was developed further to be applied and rolled out to the rest of the Nike fleet. Building on the concept of innovation with the framework materials, we added multiple different fixturing formats that layered in different facets of highlighting product through multiple additive elements. We combined the ideas of research and technology inherent in the Nike product development cycle, and combined that with the technical and industrial elements of NASA clean rooms, incorporating elements of machining through use of t-slots and extruded aluminum sections, to create a flexible and reconfigurable system for storytelling.
